Thornetta Davis : 
La vincitrice del BLUES MUSIC AWARD 2025 THORNETTA DAVIS, è stata incoronata Regina del Blues di Detroit nel 2015 dalla Detroit Blues Society, è una cantante, cantautrice e artista discografica indipendente acclamata a livello internazionale.  
Con una carriera che dura da decenni, ha condiviso il palco con leggende come B.B. King, Ray Charles, Etta James e Bonnie Raitt.  
Candidata 10 volte al BLUES Foundation Blues Music Award e vincitrice per 2 volte del Blues Music Award 2025 e 2023 come Miglior Artista Soul/Blues Femminile, la sua voce potente e la sua narrazione piena di sentimento le hanno fatto guadagnare riconoscimenti in tutto il mondo. 
Ha vinto oltre 30 Detroit Music Awards, tra cui numerosi riconoscimenti per il suo acclamato album Honest Woman.

Oltre ai suoi numerosi riconoscimenti, Thornetta è stata insignita del Denise LaSalle Recording of Excellence Award della Jus' Blues Foundation e di una stella sulla Walk of Fame del Canada South Blues Museum.
